Hannah G. Photography Blog bio picture

Hello!

Somehow you've managed to find my little corner of the internet, and I'm quite flattered. I'd love for you to stay awhile, take a look around, and maybe even say hello.

I'm simple. I look at my world differently than most, and I try to bring that perspective to my photography. I try to capture life's moments with a soft, fresh take.

My love for photography came from my love of light. A warm summer evening and a sunset, that's all I need to be in my element. I knew early on in high school that my dream career would be to own my own business. By combining my love for photography and business I was able to build my dream. I've been going strong since 2009 and I don't plan on stopping anytime soon.

But I'm not all business! I'd love for you to get to know the real me! A year ago I married my high school sweetheart, Josh. He's my everything. We currently live in Fairbanks, Alaska.

So that's a little bit about me, but I'd love to learn more about you! Say hello, I'd love to chat about business, photography, or just life in general...

Editing: Before and After

So, I LOVE “before and after” things. Really, I do. I could look at pictures of things before they were transformed, and after, all day long. One of the questions I am asked the most is, “How do you get your pictures so dreamy/soft/blah blah blah (insert word here)”. Well, I am a firm believer that a good photographer doesn’t have to do a ton of editing after they upload the images, to make a great photograph. I really don’t edit my images much. I tweak them a little here, a little there, and VOILA…a perfectly “popped” image. Before my clients get to view their images in their gallery, I make sure that every single one is touched up just right. So, without spilling any “secrets” (which aren’t really secrets at all) here’s what my images look like straight out of camera (SOOC) and after. I very much enjoy the final results myself, I hope you do too!
